Samsung on Monday took the wraps off another new addition to its Android tablet lineup, the Galaxy Note 10.1. Like the supersized "phablet" it joins in the Galaxy Note family, the Note 10.1 includes Samsung's S Pen stylus for drawing, note-taking, highlighting and much more..
We reported some exclusive details surrounding Samsung's upcoming flagship Galaxy S III smartphone this past weekend, and now we have received some more information that helps us paint a more complete picture. And as that picture becomes more clear, this sure looks like the baddest Android smartphone the world hasn't yet seen. Just in case you thought there weren't enough monstrous phones on offer, rumor has it that HTC may be planning to roll out a 6-inch, 1080p version of its acclaimed One.
Google just announced that Android 4.3 Jelly Bean will soon be available for the original Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 4, Nexus 7 and Nexus 10, in addition to coming pre-installed on the new Nexus 7. It will also soon be available for the Google Edition HTC one and Google Edition Galaxy S4, though not immediately.
Android 4.3 allows restricted profiles, Bluetooth Smart for low-power devices, OpenGL ES 3.0 support, a new version of Chrome and much more. We're definitely excited to give it a whirl and it sounds like it's a nice step up from Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.

Liliputing Google Android 4.3 begins rolling out
Google's new Nexus 7 tablet will be the first device to ship with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. But the company will start pushing the software update to existing devices today.
The first device in line for Android 4.3 will be the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, Google Nexus 4, and original Google Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 tablets. According to Google there will be updates for the HTC One and Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Edition devices soon as well, but those updates will be pushed by HTC and Samsung, not Google itself.
Update: Don't feel like waiting for the over-the-air-update? You can download the Android 4.3 factory images for the latest Nexus devices straight from Google.
Thanks to leaked builds of Android 4.3, we already knew that Android 4.3 would have support for OpenGL ES 3.0, Bluetooth Low Energy, a new default font, updated notification tools, and more.
Now we also know that the update brings new DRM APIs designed to let companies like Netflix stream 1080p HD video to Android devices without annoying copyright holders. In fact, Netflix will be one of the first companies to use the new APIs, which means that 1080p streaming is coming soon to Netflix for Android.
Another update is support for restricted user profiles. Like Android 4.2, the new version of Android lets you set up multiple user profiles on a device. But now you can also restrict access to apps and content on a per-user basis, so if you don't want kids playing certain games on your tablet, you can restrict their access.
Google says some of the other changes in Android 4.3 include:
All told this is a minor update, which explains why it's not called Android 5.0. The overall user experience in Android 4.3 Jelly Bean should be a lot like other versions of Jelly Bean.

The Verge - All Posts Google takes on Game Center with Google Play Games for Android
Google just introduced a new, dedicated gaming app for the Android ecosystem called Google Play Games. It's essentially Android's answer to Apple's Game Center — it lists both games and your friends on a single screen and lets you see highlights from both categories. You can tap through to see achievements for the games you're playing, social and public leaderboards, the most recently played games from your friends, and so forth. There are also friend suggestions included to help you expand your gaming circle. The new app builds on the Play Games API and services that the company introduced back at I/O in May, and Google says the new app will be available today.
